Spearheaded the successful organization and execution of more than 47 Women Techmakers and Google Developer Groups events in our local community. These events have served as vital platforms, empowering women and underrepresented groups to enhance their technological expertise, forge meaningful connections, and cultivate their professional growth.
Mentored and guided over 40 individuals aspiring to enter the tech industry or transition their careers into the field. Through personalized coaching, I have supported them in honing their skills, expanding their networks, and securing rewarding job opportunities, enabling them to embark on successful tech careers.
Mikaeri Ohana: Machine Learning Expert from Brazil Hailing from Brazil, Mikaeri Ohana, a distinguished Machine Learning Google Developer Expert.
In her own words, I'm the first Brazilian woman nominated as Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in Artificial Intelligence and Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning.
Studying for my master's at Unicamp, I have 8 years working in tech, being passionate about leveraging data to drive insights and enable informed decision-making.
I have built a diverse background in data analysis, data engineering, data science, machine learning engineering, and most recently, data product management.
My experience across various data roles has provided me with a deep understanding of the entire data lifecycle, from data collection and processing to building predictive models, deploying machine learning solutions, and generating value for end-users.
A significant portion of my day is dedicated to creating impactful content about Data and AI at @explicami, aimed at fostering the growth of data professionals in Brazil and around the world.
I was always in love with the power of impact that technology has, idealizing at 16 a mobile app of LIBRAS (Brazilian Sign Language) that was a finalist in FEBRACE - Brazilian Science and Engineering Fair.
I write technical articles for referral sites in the world of technology and participate in several communities that aim at women's empowerment and the presence of women in technology.
